Rakudai kishi no Cavalry - Chivalry of a Failed Knight

Beautiful scenes, and strong, courageous characters are a few of the many wonders to look forward to in this action fiction, fantasy, romance anime.
But I'm going to tell you from the start that this anime has lots of suggestive scenes and content so I would not recommend this one for kids, although, I'll bet it's not the worst anime of it's kind.

Chivalry of a Failed Knight captures the story of a Ikki Kurogane, who, due to his lack of magical ability, was marked as an F-rank Blazer. As a result, he was ignored by his family as a child growing up.

However, he didn't give up and ended up joining Hagun Academy, where he hopes to win the Seven Stars Sword Art festival and finally graduate in spite of the lack of support from his family.

This story also follows Ikki's budding romance with Stella Vermillion, an A-rank blazer, who is hot headed and is constantly jealous of Ikki's interaction with other girls. This anime begins as Ikki sees Stella changing her clothes. It was found out soon after that these two were to be roommates.

What really drew me into the anime was the contrast between Ikki's personality and Stella's. Ikki is mature, cautious, level headed, generous and even sometimes naive, compared to the hot tempered and impulsive Stella. Their personalities balance out each others and that really is refreshing. And yes, there is a bit of humor in the mix, so it's not all uptight.

Also, it's always nice to see how Ikki handles the difficult  situations he encounters and it's especially interesting since he has weaknesses which he has to work hard to overcome. One of my favorite quotes from this anime was, "With my strongest, I'll beat your strongest."

Although, it was obvious to me, that the battles in this anime were not the creators' major focus, (since a lot of times they would highlight the spirit of the players rather than the movements made in battle), they were able to intrigue me and added enough action to make the series enjoyable.

I actually enjoyed this anime more than I expected I would.

So, can  the "worst one" change his nickname, win the girl and prove his family and critics wrong? Well there's only one way to find out (unless, of course, you read the spoilers).
Give it a try if you're in a whimsical mood and you don't mind a bit of risqué scenes.

Shingeki no Kyojin Season 3- Attack on Titan

If you're a fan of Attack on Titan, I'm happy to tell you that season 3 is definitely not going to disappoint you. Mystery, gore and non-stop action, no titans in the first two episodes so far though but lots of Levi!
Levi as a Kid
If you're new to Attack on Titan, basically, humanity has built three walls to protect themselves against their greatest predator; Titans, who consume humans for no apparent reason. This anime follows the story of a young man, Eren Jeager, as he and his friends try to figure out the truth behind the titans in order to free humanity. However, there are some huge twists in this story, I dare not say more than that though, you'll just have to watch it and find out!
The twists are what makes this series enjoyable.

Left to Right: Mikasa, Eren and Armin as children
There are lots of surprises in store in this anime and just so you know, it is rated 17+, this is due to scenes which may be disturbing to children (or even adults if you are tender at heart), and some explicit language.

It is a very creative series and if you really want drama, a heart pounding, tear jerking, dark fantasy, and of course if you're over 17 and you can handle a bit of a thrill, give it a go.

Eeekkk A Flustered Levi!!!
Season 3 has been great so far though, better than season 2 in my opinion since season 2 only really had me engrossed at around the last four episodes or so. The mysteries left at the end of season 2 left me wanting more so I've been looking forward to season 3!

Who is Kenny and why does he have humanities strongest soldier, Levi Ackerman, on edge? Who is after Eren and Historia and why? Can the special ops figure out what's going on in the capital before it's too late?

These questions and more will be answered in this series, definitely give it a try today.
