Miira no Kaikata- (How to keep a Mummy)

Miira no Kaikata or How to Keep a Mummy is a cute anime series that will melt your heart.

Sora Kashiwagi is stunned one day as his father sends him a package from Egypt. Turns out it is a giant black Coffin. Sora's father often sends him gifts from his travels, but due to a history of them being "scary" he is hesistant to open it.
When the coffin starts shaking and opening on its own, he arms himself with the only weapon at hand, an electric iron.

As he arms himself, the coffin cracks open and out pops a Mummy; an adorable 12cm Mummy!

At first Sora wanted to send him back to Egypt, but his Mummy friend insists that he could help with the chores and wishes to stay, so Sora names him Mii-Kun and thus begins his new friendship.

Sora's friend Tazuki is the first person he introduces to Mii-Kun, and after a series of events, Tazuki becomes friends with Mii-kun and makes a new friend of his own, an oni-child called Conny.

Sora ends up making more and more friends as two more of his classmates are made aware of the existence of imaginary creatures and adopt them.

The kind-hearted and hard-working Sora is like a Mom to Mii-kun, and they both share a special relationship with each other and their friends.

It is a very heart-warming series that you can watch with your family and friends or on your own, it's sure to give you those feel good emotions!

This 12 episode anime was so lovely, it left me wanting much more of it's cuteness!

It reminded me a bit of Fruit's Basket, so if you liked one you may also like the other. Definitely add this one to your watch list today!

Housekishou Richard-shi no Nazo Kantei (The Case Files of Jeweler Richard)

The Case files of Jeweler Richard is a lovely slice of life anime in the 2019/2020 winter collection.

With themes like justice, friendship and love, this anime not only entertains, but invites you to learn more about the world of precious stones and jewels.

Like its name implies, this anime is about a young English Jeweler who goes by the name Richard Ranashinha de Vulpian, who runs a jewelry business in Japan, however, Richard is sometimes bullied due to his handsome face.

It is during one such instance that he meets the honest and justice loving Nakata Seigi.

After doing business with Seigi, Richard decides to take him on as a worker to do odds and ends at his shop, and thus begins their story together.

Despite his love of sweets, Richard is more mature, serious and skeptical when compared to the talkative and inquisitive college student Seigi. Their unique personalities and melding of cultures adds a tasteful depth to the anime.

However, both characters were able to learn a lot from each other which helped their relationship to thrive.

The challenges that these two encounter not only bring them closer together but helps the straightforward Seigi learn more about this mysterious Englishman he has encountered, and as the episodes go on, Richard's story brings to light not only his past but why he seems to be keeping Seigi at arms length.

The general aura of the anime makes it seem more suited for a mature audience, but of course, it was clean through and through so anyone willing could enjoy it.
There were parts of the dialogue that I thought were confusing though.

Do you want to know what secrets the young and handsome Englishman Richard hides behind his somber smile, and the true nature of the industry breeding the precious stones he sells? Watch the Case Files of Jeweler Richard and unravel his mystery today!

Uchi Tama?! Uchi no Tama Shirimasen ka?

"Have you seen my Tama? He's got brown spots on his head, shoulders and tail. He has a gentle nature and rarely meows. When you call him "Tama" he wiggles his butt. He's got a kinked tail. If you find him, please contact Okamoto in District 3."

"Uchi Tama?! Uchi no Tama Shirimasen Ka?" or "Have you seen my Tama?", is one of the cutest anime series in the winter 2019/2020 collection.

The vibrant colours, cute characters and heart-warming story line is sure to leave you with fluffy, happy feelings.

This anime follows the story of a cat called Tama and his friends, who comprise of both dogs and cats, who all who share adventures at their community on Third street.

This lovable cat always seems to get lost with his best friend, a dog called  Pochi. The two of them, along with their neighbors share many moments of fun and friendship.

Whether it's a wrestling competition, going to the beach or making friends with a mecha dog, these friends enjoy spending time together and looking out for each other.

Left to Right: Bull, Gon, Kuro, Momo, Tora, Tama, Pochi, Koma, Nora and Beh
There is Tora; the adventurous cat who is afraid of heights.
Momo; the idol of the district.
Gon; a flippant dog who is often heard saying, "It will work out somehow."
Nora; the rouge street cat who is always there to pull everyone out of trouble.
The faithful and kind police dog; Kuro.

Beh; the sleepy cat who delivers newspapers, and knows all the shortcuts on Third street.

In this adaptation of the anime, Tama and his friends are personified so we get to see them in their human forms and they are super adorable both ways.
