Game Reviews: Cooking Games

So I really enjoy playing games in addition to watching anime. I tend to play games, get tired of them and then uninstall them and try others so I thought that I'd do some posts on them so I'd remember which I've tried already.

I've been feeling like playing cooking games lately, so here are my thoughts on them.

1. Cooking Panic

Homescreen of Cooking Panic
Cooking Panic is a fun time management tapping game where you basically take orders and serve food to your customers. It has many features including upgrading the appliances, the server as well as opening new restaurants.

Playing Cooking Panic
Why I like this game:
It's fast paced, has great graphics and it's very engaging and fun overall.

Cooking Panic
Other Comments:
You have 50 energy and when that's done you have to wait quite a while for it to refill, also both coins and diamonds to upgrade equipment and in some levels, diamonds are not easily earned, (ie, you don't get the third star), unless upgrades are made. This can be overcome by opening a new restaurant with the diamonds earned though.

Not a bad game, definately worth a try.

2. Sushi shop

This is another time management game. The background music and setting of the game will definitely get you in the mood to please your hungry for sushi customers.

It has a bit of a slower pace than cooking panic since you get only one customer at a time and also because upgrades are only available at certain levels and each upgrade takes time. You also have 50 energy with this one but once you level up they refill it; still, leveling up takes time.

What I like:
It's interactive; you have to place the rice to boil, put the sushi together and drag it to the customer.

Other Comments:
It's kinda repetitive but I suppose as you level up it will be more enjoyable.

3. Star Chef

Loading Star Chef
A cute little restaurant game where you are the owner of a beautiful restaurant, one of your goals in the game is to get it up to a five star restaurant.

Good sound and graphics and a lot to do. However, you also have energy in this game, but you use it to buy groceries or whatever the chef needs to prepare the next meal.

My Restaurant
What I like:
It's customizable so your restaurant could be decorated to reflect your style.

Other Comments:
There's just soo much to do! Plant and harvest vegetables, buy groceries, buy chefs and chef stations, waiting for food to be made, manage supplies and the list goes on...

4. Stirfry Stunts

StirFry Stunts Loading
It's based on a cartoon network cartoon and while I'll admit I've never seen it before the characters kinda reminded me of Shirokuma Café so I gave it a try.

It's another time management game and you don't have in game energy! Lucky 🍀
You're basically making food for your customers until you lose your three lives.

Playing StirFry Stunts
What I like:
No energy is needed, fast paced and nice graphics and sounds.

Other Comments:
The really good upgrades are super expensive but I guess if you got them early on it would kill the fun of the game.

5. Cooking Fans

Cooking Fans Loading
I have to admit, of all I've spoken of thus far, this game has been my favorite. No energy is required, so no wait time, it has good graphics and coins and diamonds are really easy to earn.

Cooking fans is a time management game where you cook food for your customers and with the coins and diamonds you earn, you can upgrade the cooking equipment in your resturant stall as well as the style of the resturant and a couple resturants are available ex. A burger resturant and a ramen resturant.

Playing Cooking Fans
What I like:
No wait time between levels, you get a variety of resturants and you get the chance to double your earnings by watching ads.

Other comments:
There are a lot of ads but it was bearable and it woukd have been nicer if the resturant decorations were customizable to suit the players style.

So these are some cooking games I've been playing and my opinions on them. I have played others and maybe I'll write about some of my favorite ones next time 😘
